The Highest Level Networking Event in the Cannabinoid Industry
We are the creators of the ORIGINAL CBD Expo Tour, and it's personal.

Powered by Delta 8 Magazine and CBD Health & Wellness Magazine, our driving force is education and we’ve been doing it for twelve years, when the CEO of MACE Media Group, Celeste Miranda, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Our education panels are unmatched, connecting physicians, scientists, industry experts, researchers, and thought leaders. Coming up will be our 28th stop on the CBD Expo TOUR where we bring the magazines alive in our conferences, connecting store owners and other professionals with the trending products they are looking for. Our exclusive Industry Buyers Club is highly vetted and personal invitations are sent to attend our events. These are the people you want your product to be in front of.

Our conferences are boutique and rooted in quality. Our goal isn’t for you to scan as many badges as you can. Our goal is for you to make that life-changing deal or connection. We tune our event to high-caliber exhibitors that “get it” and provide them with data and continued promotion AFTER the event. We are partners for our exhibitors and providers for our attendees. Sales are done on our floor. Samples are given freely.

Call us or text us 24/7. We can answer all your questions... 805-716-5121

Panel Room: CBD and MLM: Friend or Foe?
You may think that multi-level marketing and cannabinoid sales would go hand and hand, and you would be absolutely correct. However, it completely depends on the distributors of the CBD product entirely. Distributors must look into the credibility of each individual who is selling these products. Without the company making a profit, the whole idea of multi-level marketing falls apart. MLM companies and businesses will often take a percentage of the money made by each individual. This is often how they receive as much money as they do and the company still makes a profit due to the distributors charging a higher price than they had originally obtained the products for.

Overall, when you look at cannabidiol products and multi-level marketing, you would see a pretty good fit as far as sales and easy distribution goes. However going door to door with cannabis products is unlikely as it may cause some issues to arise, but perhaps in the future, we could be distributing CBD products door to door to people of age

Panel Room: Same Yet Different: The Extraction of Mushrooms and Cannabinoids
Mushrooms and cannabis are the headline grabbers.  They are distinctly different and have the same barriers to moving forward in a consistent scientific process.  Mushrooms are consumed around the world.  Flavors and fragrances help with meals.  They hold many compounds with great value once extracted, also.  Cannabis is not a typical dinner garnish or ingredient.  Both of the plants need to be extracted to gain the concentrated form to put into a medicine.  The use of cell blasting technology has proven successful.  From water and ethanol history to looking at how to do this on a small scale, pilot, to industrial-scale will be discussed.

Panel Room: Making Sense of Minnesota’s Updated Cannabinoid Regulations
This “Loveless Loophole” as it is known is simply an error in that one statute does not match the other. There are two ways to fix this problem. One is through the courts, which could take a much longer time than the alternative option: addressing the issue by changing the wording of the later statute to mirror the initial Hemp Bill. The latter option would have to be done through the state legislature.

In the meantime, the legality of liquid hemp products hangs in a legal gray area, which has presented quite a stir within the hemp and cannabinoid industry in the state. It is still unknown what will happen. If the issue goes through the courts, it could take up to a year and liquid hemp is likely to be outlawed. If the legislature steps in, then a simple revision of the statutes would resolve the problem and make liquid cannabinoids legal, allowing the current hemp and cannabinoid industries to continue to flourish. The future of the hemp industry in Minnesota hangs in the balance.

Panel Room:  CBD and the Process of Converting it to D8, HHC, THC-O, and More
Many different cannabinoids can be produced in laboratories performing chemical reactions with CBD as starting material. By semi-synthetically modifying the major constituent of hemp plants, it is possible to produce valuable health-promoting compounds that are present in nature only in small amounts and which can be extracted from hemp with very low yields and large solvents waste.  Depending on the needs, CBD can be converted into other cannabinoids such as D8, HHC, THC-O among others. Through semi-synthetic reactions involving heat, acids, catalysts and various reagents we are capable of improving the overall process of cannabinoids production and reduce the environmental impact of minor cannabinoid extraction.

Panel Room: Bill HF4065 / HR3595: The Law That Was Tucked Into a 1000 Page Amendment
Neatly tucked away in a voluminous (close to 1,000 pages) document that's the amendment of the Minnesota Omnibus Health Bill HF4065 is a silent clause that ushers in a pro-THC era in the state.

Starting July 1st, it will be legal to produce and distribute foods and beverages containing the psychoactive cannabinoid THC in edible form, as long as it is hemp-derived and does not exceed 5mgs per serving. Note that smokable forms of THC products are still prohibited. While marijuana (with more than 0.3% THC) remains illegal in the state, stakeholders view this step as monumental and building towards full legalization.

HF3595, which is an amendment to HF4065, will "legalize" the sale of hemp-derived edibles containing THC. The new law, which was signed into law by Gov. Tim Walz, however, restricts the production and sale of THC derivatives such as delta-8 and delta-10. Adult residents of Minnesota (above 21 years) will now be able to purchase THC-infused products but with a cap of 5mg of THC per serving and 50mg per package. Care to find out who, where, and how to sell THC edibles in Minnesota under the new law? Come on in!

Panel Room: The Making of Hemp Infused Food and Beverages
The Agricultural Act of 2018 legalized hemp at the federal level and consequently birthed the hemp-infused food and beverage market which was valued at xxx in 2020. Hemp contains cannabidiol (CBD_ as well as other cannabinoids and terpenes that can be used to infuse foods and beverages. The hemp-infused food and beverage market is expected to maintain a CAGR of 26.5% in the next five-year period (2022-2027). Several factors have been contributing to this positive growth including the following:

· Legalization of hemp federally

· Increased knowledge and awareness about the therapeutic potential of hemp-derived cannabinoids

· Shift away from smoking to hemp-infused edibles that are considered safer

· Availability of high-quality hemp-infused products

Hemp-infused foods and beverages come in various shapes and forms. Different technologies are also being harnessed to increase the bioavailability of infused edibles and make them “fast-acting.” Join us in exploring the opportunity in hemp-infused foods and beverages.

Panel Room: How to Break into and Niche within the Psychedelic Industry
Psychedelics are becoming “the hot conversation” for patients, clinicians, and researchers interested in their therapeutic potential. While psilocybin mushrooms have gained much popularity owing to the widespread acceptance of psychedelic treatments in psychiatry, other psychedelics including MDMA, LSD, and peyote have also been brought to the limelight.

The psychedelic drug market size was valued at $487 million in 2021 and is expected to grow exponentially at a CAGR of 7% in the next 10 years. At the recently concluded Benzinga Psychedelics Capital Conference, keynote speaker Michael O’Leary (Shark Tank fame) placed the value of the industry at several billion dollars. It is no surprise that capitalism seems to be getting the better of the emerging legal psychedelics market. Is it possible to break into and carve a niche within the competitive psychedelic space? Join us as explore this topic.
